Healthy living through nutrition therapy
A healthy diet improves health and fights disease. Whether you're hoping to lower your cholesterol or improve your marathon performance, the registered dietitians at Reston Hospital Center will draw on their experience and specialized education to develop a personalized nutrition plan to help you achieve your goals.
You'll need a physician's referral to talk with one of our registered dietitians in Reston. Once you have a referral, call (703) 689-9108 to schedule your appointment and get started on the path to healthier living.
What is a registered dietitian?
Registered dietitians are nutrition experts with degrees in nutrition, dietetics, public health and related fields from respected, accredited universities. They must also complete a supervised internship administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and earn ongoing professional education credits to maintain certification.
Using evidence-based food and nutrition information, our registered dietitians are able to translate the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living. A registered dietitian can put you on the path to lowering your weight, eating healthfully and reducing your risk of chronic disease.
