We offer case management assistance to help you and your family coordinate follow-up care, if needed, when you return home from your hospital stay, and we use the latest medical technologies to deliver a wide range of healthcare services.
- Inpatient procedures require admission to our hospital for a certain period of time.
- Outpatient procedures-performed at Reston Hospital, Reston Surgery Center or Fairfax Surgery Center–allow you to return home the same day.
For your convenience, you can preregister online for your visit or for a mammogram. If you preregister, all of your required paperwork will be ready when you arrive to check in at the appropriate registration site. You'll verify information on the top sheet of your preregistration packet and sign all necessary forms. Your registration representative will photocopy your insurance and/or identification cards. Documents you're required to sign include:
- Consent for treatment
- Authorization to bill insurance
- CHAMPUS Rights Statement (TRICARE recipients only)
If you haven't preregistered, your registration representative will work through the process with you as quickly as possible.
On the day of your inpatient or outpatient procedure, register at the Pavilion Registration area on the first floor of the hospital at 1850 Town Center Parkway from 5:45am - 6:00pm, Mon - Fri. On weekends, register 24/7 at our Emergency Department Registration.
For radiology and lab procedures, register in the Radiology Department, located on the first floor of the main hospital accessible from the Pavilion or Main entrances.
Register Mon - Fri: 8:00am - 5:00pm, at the Medical Imaging Center, located in the Hospital Center Medical Plaza, 1830 Town Center Drive, Suite 110.
You'll find several convenient, complimentary parking options for hospital patients and visitors and for appointments with your physician, radiology, lab services or outpatient surgery, including:
- Two Parking Garages on campus for free self-parking.
Parking Garage A - Patient and visitor parking is available in the NEW Parking Garage A, located across from the West Wing entrance. Parking Garage A provides convenient access to inpatient hospital care including our maternity services.
Parking Garage B – Patient & visitor parking is located across from the Pavilion I & II entrances. Garage B provides convenient access to medical office buildings including Pavilion I & II, 1800, 1830 and 1860.
- Emergency Department parking across from the Emergency Department entrance. Free Valet for hospital patients is available.
- Free Valet for hospital patients is available at Pavilion II Entrance
