“Our Total Joint Center is recognized by The Joint Commission for excellence in hip and knee replacement.” In order to be the best we can be, the Total Joint Center is constantly measuring ourselves against national standards. We strive to achieve best practices, and to stay on the leading edge of joint replacement surgery. Practices that have proven especially effective are our 100% MRSA screening rate, pre-surgery total joint replacement classes, our group physical therapy sessions, and our studies into the most effective pain management program. As a result of our quality initiatives, our patient satisfaction is off the charts (see figure 1) and our length of stay is days below the national average (see figure 2).
