Medical Oncology and Outpatient Infusion
Medical Oncology is an integral part of the treatment of any cancer. At the Ann B. Rodriguez Cancer Center we have a team of medical oncologists skilled in the treatment of all forms of cancer. These oncologists work in concert with the entire cancer team to plan treatment and work with patients toward survivorship. In cases where neoadjuvant therapy is recommended, medical oncologists and surgeons work as a team to ensure the patient understands the process and gets through treatment smoothly.
The Ann B. Rodriguez Cancer Center is meets the needs of patients in need of infusion treatments in our Outpatient Infusion Center located in Suite 412 of the Hospital Pavilion. The well-appointed Center includes six recliners and one patient bed in a treatment area that is bright and easily visible for those in need of close observation. Patient each have their own flat screen televisions with cable television. Our team of highly skilled oncology nursing staff provides competent and compassionate care to all patients in need of short or long-termed infusion.
