RESTON, VA (JULY 28, 2016) ― Dr. Raymond Makhoul has been appointed Chief Medical Officer at Reston Hospital Center, a 187-bed acute-care medical and surgical facility serving Northern Virginia. As CMO of Reston Hospital Center, Dr. Makhoul will advise and lead the medical staff as the organization continues to grow and expand services throughout the Northern Virginia market.

Prior to joining Reston Hospital, Dr. Makhoul was in private practice with Surgical Associates of Richmond practicing as a vascular surgeon and serving as the Trauma Medical Director for Chippenham Hospital. Dr. Makhoul’s deep healthcare leadership experience also includes various roles with academic medical centers , including serving as the Chairman of the Division of Vascular Surgery for VCU School of Medicine.
